Undoubtedly, the area's biggest attraction is the tens of thousands of migrating wild geese that arrive in late autumn. As a celebration of this fascinating natural phenomenon, we are organizing the Tatai wild goose abundance nature conservation festival for the 20th year now. The prohibition and restriction of fireworks was introduced here for the first time in our country!
Our board constantly consults with lake users in order to preserve the natural values of aquatic habitats.
Since 1991, the Ferencmajor Madárvárta bird ringing station has been operating for almost 5 months in the area of the Ferencmajor fish ponds next to Naszály with many open, environmental awareness programs.
