Pál-völgyi Cave
<h1><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #169179;">The Longest Cave in Hungary!</span></strong></h1>
Discovered in 1904 and open to the public since 1919, the Pál-völgyi Cave is one of Budapest’s hidden gems. Known for its unique dripstones, glittering calcite crystals, narrow passages, and dramatic level changes, this 500-meter tour offers a truly breathtaking underground experience.

Tour Details
- Length: approx. 500 meters
- Duration: approx. 1 hour
- Tours start at: 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 13:15, 14:15, 15:15, 16:15
- Max. participants per group: 35
- Tickets must be purchased at least 10 minutes before the tour
- Registration at ticket office is required for combined tickets and Budapest Card
Important Information
- Not suitable for children under 5 years or under 115 cm in height
- Not accessible for people with limited mobility
- Over 400 stairs and one safe ladder included in the route
- Constant temperature: 11 °C (52 °F) – bring a sweater, even in summer
- No dogs allowed

- Opening: From Tuesday-Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm. One tour every hour! First tour at 10:15 and last tour at 16:15. The cave is closed at the following days: December 24-26, December 31 and January 1. Please buy your ticket minimum 10 minutes before the tour!
Duration of the tours: 60 minutes. Guided tours start at 15 minutes past every hour. Visitation is prohibited for children under age 5 and below 115 cm.

- Basic ticket (exhibition included) 3 900 HUF/person, Discount price: 2 800 HUF/person
- Combined ticket (valid for both Pál-völgyi and Szemlő-hegyi Cave) 5 900 HUF/person, Discount price: 4 700 HUF/person
